Kaustuv De Biswas is currently a PhD student in the Computation Group, Deptartment of Architecture, MIT. He holds a Master of Science degree from MIT and a B.Arch degree from Jadavpur University, India. His PhD research centers on the concept of multi-agency as a tool for design computation and is funded by Bentley Systems, USA. He has been a part of the development team of Generative Components, Bentley's Parametric modeling tool over the last two years. He has taught computation workshops and courses in schools including MIT, Harvard, AA, Columbia, Georgia Tech, USC, Pratt Institute of Design and been a consultant to professional practises including Morphosis, NormanFosters, TVS, dECOi, Portman and Hoberman integrating computational tools in their work flow.
